Niza Pillow in Pale Blue with Tonal Embroidery

Our Niza pillow is made from a contemporary huipil, using the same handwoven textile on the front and back. The fabric is dyed pale indigo. The embroidery features a tonal, tight cross-stitch in a traditional motif, forming an overall zig-zag pattern. The design of the Niza centers on the repetition of the thread, allowing the textile to be held in a different narrative.
