Amira Piecework Pillow in Warm Brown

Our Amira pillow is a piecework of salvaged Miao-embroidered ribbon strips from Huangping County, Guizhou. There is a central embroidery of flowers in pale blue on peach-colored silk. The black cotton ribbon is embroidered with a traditional butterfly motif in gold silk floss. Warm brown Hmong hand-woven cotton cut into strips adds texture and depth.
