Amira in Umber and Black- Piecework Pillow

The Amira pillow is a piecework of salvaged Miao embroidered trim from pleated skirts as well as embroidered ribbon from Huangping County, Guizhou. The ribbon is decorated with a butterfly motif in gold and silk floss. Hmong hand woven cotton makes up the surrounding.
