Jin Pillow - Piecework - Miao Embroidery and Indigo Piecework

Our Jin Pillow is in an asymmetrical layout of vintage silk floss-embroidered ribbon salvaged from Miao pleated skirts. The ribbons depict butterfly motifs representing the Butterfly Mother, paired with pale silk ribbons with lavender highlights, and the brown cotton from the pleated skirts, with a strip of indigo-and-white handwoven cloth from Guizhou.
